We wish to thank the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for supporting the work of the Archive of the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum

During the period 3 February to 31 December 2023 work was carried out as part of the WABIM PROJECT (Assisting Archives, Libraries and Museums outside of Poland) which was funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, monies from the state budget.

The work carried out encompassed preparations for digitization, digitization, and the publishing of materials from the holdings of the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum as well as the upgrading of the Institute web page.

The work carried out covered 8 sectors:

• Carrying out improvements and changes to the PISM web page in both English and Polish language versions
• Transferring the Archive finding aids of the PISM Archive onto Excel and Word with the aim of publishing them on the PISM web page
• Translation of the PISM Archive finding aids into English with the aim of putting them on the web page
• Sorting out and preparing documents for digitization
• Digitization of Archive documents
• The writing, editing, technical preparation and printing of an album, about 100 chosen exhibits of the PISM Museum
• The writing, editing, technical preparation and printing of an album, about 100 chosen documents from the PISM Archive
• Preparation for an information platform and procedural regulations for the publishing of archival finding aids on the internet web page
